Catherine Reyes-Housholder has won the 2017 APSA dissertation prize awarded by the Women and Politics Research Section for her dissertation: "Presidentas, Power, and Pro-Women Change.”
Mallory SoRelle, now at Lafayette College, has won the 2017 APSA E.E.Schattschneider Award for the best dissertation on American politics for her dissertation: “Democracy Declined: The Failed Politics of Consumer Credit.”
Kevin Duong has won the 2017 APSA Leo Strauss Award for the best dissertation in the field of political philosophy, for his dissertation: “Democratic Terror: Redemptive Violence and the Formation of Nineteenth Century France.”
