2021 continued to present challenges due to the ongoing pandemic, but also some light at the end of the pandemic tunnel. Classes returned to in-person teaching in the fall and members of the Department found it invigorating to see familiar faces and meet new ones. As we come out of the pandemic more fully, and spring weather begins to emerge, we look forward to hosting even more panel discussions about war and peace, conducting more community-engaged learning projects, and continuing meaningful research into real-world problems.
