Cassidy Fowler

Overview

Cassidy Fowler is a PhD student in International Relations in the Department of Government at Cornell University. Her research focuses on international security, with a particular interest in nuclear weapons strategy and operations, IR theory, and security studies. She is interested in understanding the role of nuclear weapons in conflict resolution and bargaining, particularly how the presence of nuclear capabilities shapes the dynamics of interstate disputes. Cassidy’s work explores the intersection of nuclear deterrence, arms control, and the implications of emerging technologies on strategic stability and conflict.
