Overview
I'm a first year Ph.D. student at Cornell University’s Department of Government studying American Politics with an emphasis in Race and Ethnic Politics. I'm interested in studying how political institutions disincentivize people at the intersections of race and ethnicity, class, and gender from participating in politics. As a feminist scholar, I'm primarily focused on researching the conditions under which low-income women of color engage with the political system. Additionally, my work will examine the role of the political economy in shaping the material conditions of marginalized communities as it relates to their lived experiences.
